New photos and re-worked archives

I re-worked the interface of the Archives section. David, I also added a back button. Like I said I would in my last post, I also put up some photos into the archives. Expect more over the summer.
On a different note, those of you who miss the forums may be in luck. I plan on doing a podcast this summer, and that would pretty much require a forum type deal.
Template is fixed

Alright, I fixed the template. It WORKS IN ALL BROWSERS NOW! Thank goodness that's out of the way.
Next in the works: Putting more stuff in the archives. I may even be able to do that today!
What is the future of Qwerty Cake?
Posted on 2008-04-14 13:20:21 by Qwert Man.
Here I am going to answer some questions that I have been asked recently for all to see.
The first thing on my priority list for Qwerty Cake is getting the template to be XHTML 1.0 Transitional, without unnecessary Javascript, and looking the same in all modern browsers. I'm probably going to ditch the all table approach, and go with a new technique I recently learned from a professional in the web design field, that I am surprised I don't see more often. It deals almost entirely with DIVs inside of DIVs.
Next on my priority list: Making the current standing website more functional. Add commenting on archives, add ratings to archives, let users have avatars and profiles, (maybe) let users upload to the archives, and close any found security holes.
Next after that? Qwertman Tech. I've spent a lot of time downloading and trying different programs, finding out which ones are better than others for what reasons. I'd post reviews, recommendations, and comparisons on Qwertman Tech, as well as download links. And don't forget, a strong emphasis on portable applications.
This is the news page. I post news about the website here. What if I want to post something... an article, a rant, or something else that just doesn't fit under news? That's the next priority, Qwerty Cake Color.
All this will roll out slowly (it' a pretty far projection), as Qwerty Cake is more my hobby now. Expect to see, along the way, new graphics, site templates, and programs and games (possibly videos too) under the archives. Oh! I almost forgot, as soon as I do create a fair amount of website templates, I'm going to try to start the down with ugly websites initiative (Dwuwi!), where whoever wants to join encourages ugly website owners to adopt good looking templates from my archive or any other good archive we find out there, or to adopt technologies like WordPress (.org, not .com) and e107. The main point would not be to find as many ugly websites as possible and mock them, but to help out the ones most in need.
New feature: Image verification

I plan to come out with a new feature or archive entry every other day starting the 16th. Why not before then? I'll be on vacation for Spring Break. I have come out with one security addition today, and that is image verification on sign up.
QCP is up!

I finally finished Qwerty Cake PIP. It's up and running, you can create an account, download from the archives, and comment on the news post(s).
